Merit Certificates
Students who are ranked first on the basis of academic performance for each term will be given a certificate of Merit on the announcement of Grades.
Principal's Merit List
The top 5 students in a batch, on the basis of academic performance at the end of the second year will be added in the Principal's Merit list, certificate will awarded on the announcement of Grades.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT
At Theosophical College of Management, we understand that studies are not the be-all and end-all of college life. While academics do play a pivotal role, it is also equally important to help students develop a well balanced and an all-round personality. In this respect college organises the industrial visits and industrial tours for the students. The industrial visits expose the students to give a basic understanding and functioning of an organization with special emphasis on managerial aspects. The students are encouraged to visit industries that give them the knowledge regarding latest technological developments and managerial practices.
Industry-Interaction is constantly achieved through visits to corporate houses, Industries in different places.
NSS AND YOUTH RED CROSS UNIT
From the year 2013-14 we have started NSS Unit in our college. Several activities are conducted throughout the Year. Apart from this an Annual Special Camp is conducted every year in a Village near by our city. Alongside Youth Red Cross Unit is also functional and several prescribed programme are arranged.
SC-ST STUDENTS CELL
A cell dedicated for SC and ST students is functional in our college. All eligible students of BBA course can get scholarship from concerned department. The college provided the facility for these students to apply for scholarship on-line. FROM 2015-16 WE HAVE OPENED SC/ST STUDENTS' BOOK BANK.
CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT CELL
Frequently our students are allowed to participate in campus interview conducted by Corporates. Over the years our college has arranged Campus Interviews / Placement Assistances by reputed companies and our BBA & MCOM students have been appointed as Marketing Officers, Public Relations Officers, Customer Care Executives in Prestigious Co., like STANDARD CHARTER BANK; FIDILITY INVESTMENT LTD.,; TATA INDICOM; BHAGYODAYA MOTORS; MARUTHI UDYOG LTD.,; CADBURY INDIA LTD.,, JINDAL VIJAYANAGAR STEEL LTD.,; KARNATAKA OIL FEDERATION; MSPL; APPOLLO HOSPITAL; UTI BANK; PROGEON at various places like Hospet, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi etc.
PROJECT REPORT AND VIVA VOCE MCOM COURSE
1. In addition to the subjects the student shall under take fieldwork/ project work under the guidance of course Guide after the theory exam of IV semester and submit a project report thereon before the start of theory exams of IV semester
2. Student of Final year (4th SEM) has to undergo in-plant training in any of the Business Organization or Industry for a period of 4 weeks (one month) compulsorily.
3. At the end of 4th SEM the student has to submit a Project Report in the prescribed form in triplicate to the College.
4. A Guide will be allotted for each student and the student should follow all the instruction of the Guide.
5. A viva will be conducted by the University called Viva Voce after the completion of 4th sem exams. It will be conducted by the Board of Examination of VSK University Bellary.
6. The project consists of 100 marks (30 marks will be allotted by the guide and 70 marks will be allotted by the university)
DRESS CODE / IDENTITY CARD / BADGE
1. The students are strictly instructed to ware the uniform prescribed by the college, failing which may result in monetary and non monetary penalties.
2. Blazer Uniform - One Coat, White Shirt and a pair of Pants.
3. Black Shoes with Black Socks (to be purchased separately by the students).
4. An identity card with tag.
5. The entire uniform must be worn on every Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays and all other occasions notified by the college.
6. The Uniform is compulsory on occasions like HRD programmes, Guest Lecturing and representing our college in other Colleges Institutions.
COLLEGE RULES AND REGULATION M.Com COURSE
1.The Student shall put in at least 75% of the attendance in each subject, else he/she will be liable to pay monetary fine and also the internal marks may be deducted in such subject, where the attendance is below the mark.
2.Student shall not discuss any of the matter related to the College with outsiders in any situation. And in case of any grievances he/she shall inform the Principal/Lecturers and get the problem solved. UNDER ANY SITUATION STUDENT SHALL NOT INVOLVE ANY THIRD PARTY IN CASE OF ANY GRIEVANCES.
3.Student shall ware the Blazer Uniform in full on every Mondays, Fridays, or any other special occasion informed by the College. In case he/she fail thereto he/she will not be allowed to attend the classes/programme.
4.Student will never bring Mobile phone in to the college campus, in case if he/she is caught using Mobile phone in the college the same will be seized, and further actions will be taken against the student.
5.The student shall score minimum passing marks in all the subjects as per the regulations of the University. And the student must attend all the internals without fail and in case he/she do not attend the internals, his/her Internals for that subject will be declared as ABSENT.
6.Admissions into this college for first semester is provisional till the student's Admission is approved by the University, and until he/she produce all the documents required by the College and the University and Finally it should be understood that the admission will be confirmed once ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE is received from Gulbarga University.
7.Principal reserves the right to refuse admission to the students whose moral character is not found good and who are found to be havinga bad record in the previous year.
8.If any student is found to be indulging in mis-conduct after the admission, the principal may dismiss him/her from the college with due notice to the parents or guardians.
9.Student shall attend and participate in all the Extra-Curricular activities conducted by the College from time to time and take the advantage of such programme for future endeavors.
10.After the admission, every student will be issued an Identity card from the Library which must be produced whenever demanded by the college authorities.
11.No student should communicate any information or write about matter dealing with the college administration to others or press without the permission of the principal.
12.Students' activities, cultural activities & entertainment etc., will be conducted strictly according to the rules of the university and the college.
13.No student should play for an outside team in any official tournament wherein the college takes part.
14.Students are forbidden to write on the walls of the college or on the desks or on any piece of furniture
15.The student shall be binding on the College's general and specific rules and regulation in maintaining Order and Discipline applicable from time to time.
16.The student shall keep the Parents/Guardians informed about all the information supplied from time to time.
17.In case the student does not attend the classes for more than a week without any prior permission, he/she may be declared as DROPOUT STUDENT.
18.FEE ONCE PAID WILL NOT REFUNDED ORADJUSTEDTO ANY OTHER PAYMENTS.
UNIVERSITY REGULATION MCOM COURSE
1.As per the new reforms of UGC, from the year 2016-17 all Post graduate programmes in India will run under CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) system adopting Semester Pattern.
2.Thus our V.S.K. University, Bellary has implemented this CBCS system for all Master Degree Programmes including M.Com.
3.This CBCS also comes with Continuous Assessment Grading System (CAGP).
4.M.Com Course comprises of 4 semesters; each semester is of 16 weeks spread over 4 moths, with a minimum 90 days of working for each semester.
5.Credit means One hour of Lecturing (L) per week amount to 1 credit. Two Hours of Tutorial (T) or Practical (P) per week amount to 1 Credit.
6.Lecture means the class handled by the Professor or Assistant Professor or Lecturer to cover the prescribed syllabus, general 4 hour per week.
7.Tutorials are supplementary to regular class which helps the students to have hands one experience of the syllabus covered. Like Seminars, Case Study, Discussion etc.,
8.Practical are laboratory / experimental oriented where ever required.
9.Hard Core courses are Fundamental aspects of a Degree programme which are compulsory subjects to be studies as the prescription of the University.
10.Soft Core courses are supplementary subjects which are related to the main subjects of the courses.
11.Open Elective Course is a special subject that can be chosen by students from any other department other than his/her subject, just to give exposure of other subjects to the students.
12.Project work or in plant training is a 30 day work at a business set-up. Minor project work carries 2 credits and Major Oject work carries 4 credits.
13.Dissertation is a in-depth study of a case problem which is more than a project work and carries 4 credits.
14.The course is of Two years (4 semesters), but a student can complete the course within 4 year (8 semesters).
15.Minimum 76 credits have to be earned to complete the course, how ever when students earned minimum of 40 credits, he/she can quit the course and a P.G. Diploma Certificate can be issued by the University as per the course taken by the Student.
16.Minimum attendance for each subject will be 75% of classes held in a semester.
17.The credits for Hard core course from 1 to 4 sem will be 12 per semester total : 48. Credits for Soft core course from 1 to 4 SEM will be 4 per semester total: 16. Open elective credits from 2 to 3 sem will be 4 per semester total : 8. And for Project work the credits will be 4 in the 4th semester. And total credits for entire semester will be 140.
18.There will two internals assessment called Cl and C2 weightage will be given for each subject 70 marks is for written exams and 30 marks for internals. Internals may be of written test, Seminars, Case study, Project/Field work.
